GeoffreyBAYNESPassed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Yeovil District Hospital on 28th December 2024, aged 89 years.

Much loved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Past landlord of the Queen Victoria Inn, Priddy for 38 years. Cherished villager, who will be greatly missed.

Funeral service to be held at St. Laurence's Church, Priddy on Friday 31st January at 1.30pm.

Donations, if desired, for the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance may be left at the service or forwarded to: W. B. Gibbs & Sons, Funeral Directors, Riverside, Henton, Wells, BA5 1PD.

I’ve known Geoff since I was just a little baby. He was and always will be such a beacon of light for Priddy. His sense of humour, kindness and love for his family and those around him has touched so many people.

Everytime I think of Geoff I will be greeted by a feeling of warmth and longing to hear his laugh again, he truly was such a special person.

My thoughts and love are with his family during this time, whom have always treated me as their own and I will always be here to support.
